Nelly Vasquez Rathgeb

I was born in Guatemala and raised in California. In 2003 I said goodbye to my family and I moved to Switzerland to join my Swiss husband Benjamin Rathgeb. The American Swiss Montessori Kindergarten was my stepping stone into this most amazing and truly rewarding career path and I am so fortunate to have taken it over in 2008. I had the privilege of learning the Montessori teaching values and gaining pertinent teaching skills from Trudy K. Detrich, the founder of ASMO and my mentor.

Johanna Muther

After I finished my education as a kindergarten teacher in Austria in 2004 I moved to Vienna. There I followed my creative interests an studied photography and graphic design. For different reasons I moved to Switzerland where I am continuing my art studies in Zürich. Reminiscent of my job related roots, I have gladly taken on a position at ASMO in order to allow me to reacquaint myself in a teaching role and to learn about the Montessori Philosophy.
